On July 28, 2022 the congregation voted to adapt the following new mission and vision statements:
Mission Statement - Bethlehem Lutheran Church's Mission is to Share God's Word with His Community
Vision Statement - Bethlehem Lutheran Church is equipped by God and united to speak his truth in love while serving those placed before us within our local communities.  God called us to be "fishers of men" and as God's stewards, we at Bethlehem Lutheran Church are casting the net of God's grace of eternal life to our fellow members of Bethlehem and to those who do not yet believe in Jesus Christ our Lord.

____________________________________________  Happy Needlers

Every year the Happy Needlers and their volunteers at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lewiston make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Imagine the comfort and care you feel¬†when you snuggle under a comforter¬†or wear a piece of clothing made or¬†worn by a loved one. That‚Äôs the feeling¬†you share through an LWR Quilt. In¬†a simple combination of fabric and¬†thread, you reach out to people in their¬†time of greatest need with a strong¬†message of hope ‚ÄĒ you are not alone.

They are in need of fabric for more quilts. Do you have used sheets, sewing pieces (minimum size 12" x 12"), draperies (no satin, sheer or lace) or table cloths that you could donate? The quilters already have 130 quilts made for this October's shipment. The quilts are sewn year 'round and donations of fabric can be taken any time of the year. If you would like to help in other ways, monetary donations to defray the cost of shipping would be welcome. Bring your donations of fabric to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church office Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or mail your donation for shipping costs to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3805 County Road 612, Lewiston, MI 49756. Please write Quilts in the memo. Your help can make another person's life better.
